![]() I’m sorry to say, but those shopkeepers are dirty liars and you should ignore them. THE SHOPS SAY THEY RESTOCK EVERY 8 MINUTES, BUT THEY HAVEN’T RESTOCKED IN A WHILE! WHAT GIVES? They cleared! The shops clear out their stock periodically, which is great because it means a whole new chance at rare items! Keep refreshing until they stock, but not TOO often! Don’t want to get a restock ban and miss it. 3-5 seconds is a generally good rule to keep in mind! It’s not really avoidable, but it helps to slow down your refreshing. This can last for up to a day (rarely more), but don’t worry! It doesn’t count as any strikes against your account. You’ll be slapped with a restocking ban, which means you won’t be able to see any inventory in any shop until it’s lifted. Sometimes, Neopets decides you’re refreshing too much or are buying too many nice items. HOW COME I SEE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT GETTING BANNED? ![]() Well, many times if an item is exactly 5,000 or 10,000, it’s a good buy! There ARE exceptions to this rule, but it’s generally a good rule of thumb! Keep this in mind and you’ll be getting r99s in no time! Alternatively, DO YOUR DAILIES! Dailies are so, so important to building your bank! Trudy’s Surprise every day gives so much on its own, plus some dailies give good items to re-sell! Not sure where to start? Check out The Daily Neopets’ daily guide! Well, there are a few ways! You can start small, picking up small profits until you can build up a reserve. HOW DO I EVEN GET THAT MANY NEOPOINTS TO START!? Depending on where you restock, you should be carrying anywhere between a couple hundred thousand (yes, that’s right!) to a couple million! Keep a fair amount of Neopoints on hand! You’ll want these to buy up items to put in your shop. The good news is that you can sort by shop and price, which makes for a good study guide for any new shops you want to check out! Restockers like to use the Jellyneo Database for a quick guide! Be aware that it is not 100% accurate, and only good for a ballpark on price. If you look at your profile, you’ll see a shield saying how long you’ve been on the site. Yes, unfortunately, because of people breaking the rules, there are account age restrictions on restocking. WOAH, DID YOU SAY SOMETHING ABOUT ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS!? Some shops (like Collectable Cards) are also slow to re-sell, so keep that in mind when choosing shops! Shops like Kayla’s Potionery are excellent for new players because people with younger accounts can buy plenty of high-profit items because of their low rarity. Just be aware that some shops have more bait items than others, and some (like Kauvara’s Magic Shop) move incredibly quickly, so would be better to tackle once you’re comfortable with restocking. Do you like goodie bags? Check out the toy shop! Do you like plushies? The plushie shop has lots of nice items! There’s no real wrong answer. Honestly, wherever you like, really! Find shops that interest you. Some items can be worth into the millions of Neopoints, so it’s a good skill to have! Neopoints, of course! There are many items that you can buy from the shops to re-sell at a higher price than you paid, which means profit! Sometimes you buy bait (an item that resells for less than you paid), but that’s okay! It’s part of the learning process. ![]() If you’re quick, the item is yours! Now you can put it into your shop to sell it. When you see something you want to buy, click on it and type in your haggle. Restocking works by refreshing official Neopets shops, such as the Fresh Food Shop. Restocking seems complicated, but it’s actually quite simple! The only hard part is remembering what you should and shouldn’t buy. Restocking is hanging out in official Neopets shops, waiting to buy items to re-sell them in your own shop (or if you’re lucky, on the Trading Post)! If you don’t see anything mentioned in (1) or (2), go for these and so on. If you don’t see anything mentioned in (1), go for things here.ģ. ![]() If you see one of these, go for it first.Ģ. ▸ My Comments: Something I (Chips) have to say about this shop.ġ. ▸ Sellability: This shows how easily you can sell an item purchased in this shop. ▸ Speed: This is how fast the shop goes (how quickly profitable items disappear) This is usually in proportion to the amount of people in that shop. ![]() ▸ Numbers/Profit: Buy the items that stock for the given amounts. ▸ Carry: This number is about how much NP you should have on hand if you don’t want to miss something (Due to lack of NPs). ▸ Beginner Friendly?: My personal insight if the shop is approachable for beginner restockers or not. This is a guide to help you learn what items are profitable in each shop and also get an idea around them. ![]()
